Photo opportunity All in orange at Drachenfels
Königswinter · Two monks from Laos certainly blended in with the local artwork at the top of Drachenfels this week.

Two monks from the Sinsay Yalam monastery in Wat Ban Na Hin Hea in Laos blended in perfectly when they were photographed next to the “Two Forms” sculpture by artist Bettina Meyer on the steps of the Drachenfels plateau.
The Buddhists, Abt Chanthavaro Pommachanh and Nouanphanthakoun Khampadit, were staying with friends in Bad Godesberg and, with their flowing religious robes, were a colourful sight during their visit to the Drachenfels.
The snapshot was taken by photographer Gregor Wiesel, who happened to be up there at the same time with Helmut Reinelt from the artists’ group Antiform.
