“Not Dead Yet live” tour Phil Collins plans two concerts in Cologne

LONDON · Good news for Phil Collins fans. The former Genesis drummer is going on tour this summer and Germany is on his list.

Phil Collins is going on tour again. The 65-year-old music legend made the announcement on Monday in London. In a good mood but with a cane, Collins told journalists he would give five concerts in London in June of 2017. The two concerts in Cologne are planned to take place at the Lanxess Arena on June 11 and 12. He is expected to play his biggest hits.

The former Genesis drummer won’t be sitting at the drums this time around. Well, maybe just once for “In the Air Tonight,” he commented. Other than that, he will let his son Nicholas take over in that department. The teenager also performed at a benefit concert with his father. Phil Collins will concentrate on his singing. “I’m really looking forward to perform again live,” he said.

The title of the tour is “Not Dead Yet live.” It sounds just like his autobiography “Not Dead Yet”. In 2011, the superstar had said his goodbyes to the music business. (Orig. text: dpa)
