Wachtberg Sunday shopping Harvest festival on weekend
Wachtberg · Wachtberg will host its own fall harvest festival this weekend. Nature and garden will be the focus this year and a wide variety of items will be on sale, from handicrafts to jewelry to spices and wine.
The Wachtberg Trade Association and local businesses invite the public to their harvest festival this weekend (Am Wachtbergring 1-9 in Berkum). After a well-visited spring festival, the shopping center and businesses will wind down summer with a fall harvest festival. It will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 6pm, with stores open on Sunday from 12 noon until 5pm.
Once again, the the fall festival promises a variety of programs for visitors. The main focus will be on nature and garden. In stylish pagoda tents, there will be many stands with merchants selling everything for the home and garden; fashion accessories, fine foods, country style goods, handicrafts, jewelry, wine, spices, plants, garden furniture, leather goods, flower arrangements and more, according to the organizers.
As well, the Marktscheune (barn market) and WeinCabinet Peter Briem (wine store) and others will offer an assortment of culinary delights and something to quench the thirst. There will also be entertainment for the little ones. (Orig. text: ca)
