Bonnorange service Christmas trees will be collected

Bonn · The Christmas holidays are over and the trees are losing their needles. From Monday, January 8, until Friday, January 19, the „veteran“ Christmas trees can be recycled free of charge.

Here’s how to go about that: All you have to do is leave the trees (without decorations!) well visible at the side of the property. It is important that the trees are not decorated any more and that they are not longer than two meters. Larger trees can be left out for collection if they are sawn in half.

The app „Abfallplaner bonnorange“ is free-of-charge and is a great way to be reminded of the individual bin days. If you enter that name of the app into any app store you should be able to find it quickly.

More information can also be retrieved from the printed version of the „Abfallplaner“ or on the bonnorange website. If you missed the date already or want to keep the tree a bit longer, you can also dispose of it free of charge at the local recycling centres or the stationary green containers.
