From this Monday, March 2 until Friday, March 6, Bonnorange municipal waste will examine the composition of household waste in the city center, Holzlar, Hoholz, Friesdorf and Buschdorf. The company has commissioned a specialist institute to determine the composition of the waste in various residential areas.

The aim of the analysis is to increase the separate collection and processing of recyclable materials. A so-called residual waste sorting analysis will be carried out to identify which recyclable materials are contained in the gray bins along with the residual waste. Bonnorange emphasizes: "The careful use of resources also includes recycling them.” By determining which recyclable materials are contained in Bonn's municipal waste, it will be possible to develop targeted measures to increase the recycling rate and thus make a further contribution to climate protection.

Bonnorange wants to inform Bonn residents in advance that the institute commissioned with the analysis will be driving its own vehicle without a Bonn license plate. Bonnorange staff will manage the collection of waste and Bonn residents are asked to support the institute in its work. If they have any queries, they can contact the Citizens' Telephone Service for Waste Management and City Cleanup ☎ 0228/5552720.
