Bonn · A 19-year-old woman was apparently the victim of sexual harassment early Sunday morning in Bonn. According to police, a man sat down next to her on the bus and repeatedly pushed against her and touched her.

At around 5:30 a.m., the 19-year-old climbed into a bus at the Bonn central bus station, heading in the direction of Bonn-Röttgen. As police reported, an unidentified man got in the bus at the same stop and after a few minutes, sat down next to her. He apparently tried to get her involved in a conversation and touched her while doing so.

According to police, the young woman moved twice to other seats but the man followed her each time and kept talking to her. The bus driver and two other passengers noticed what was going on and the man was asked to leave the bus at the Hobsweg bus stop in Röttgen.

  • about 1.65 - 1.7 meters tall
  • 3-day beard
  • wearing a dark green jacket and noticeably red shoes
