Man from Much deceased Rhein-Sieg-Kreis reports first death from Corona virus
Rhein-Sieg-Kreis · A man from Much died as a result of a disease caused by the Corona virus. The Rhein-Sieg-Kreis reports the first death by Covid-19.
For the first time a person from the Rhein-Sieg district died of Covid-19. According to district administrator Sebastian Schuster, it was a middle-aged man from Much. "He was a passenger on a cruise ship and fell ill there," Schuster said on Tuesday morning during a press meeting at the new test center in Rheinbach.
The man had been brought directly to a Munich clinic from his vacation and died there. The Rhein-Sieg District currently reports a total of 335 people who tested positive for the coronavirus. 1643 people are in domestic quarantine.
