In November Regional train cancellations due to expansion of the S13
Bonn · As part of the three to four track expansion of line S13, Deutsche Bahn will be working on railway overpasses and other features along the route. On some weekends in November, the line will not be running.
In the course of the three to four track extension of line S13, Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) is carrying out work on railway overpasses on weekends in November.
Additional work will be done on the tracks, overhead lines, switching points and vegetation along the route. The work will be carried out between Troisdorf and Bonn from Saturday, November 9 at 12 noon until Monday, November 11 at 5 a.m., and from November 16 at 12 noon until November 19 at 3 p.m.. During these times, the line will not be running.
For lines RE8 and RB27 there is a replacement service using buses. From November 16 at 12 noon until November 19 at 3 pm, a one-sided closure of Königswinterer Strasse in the area of the railway overpass Friedrich-Breuer-Straße will be necessary.
