Parkscout Audience Award 2019 : Phantasialand in Brühl scores many prizes

The Phantasialand in Brühl has taken the top place in various categories at the "Parkscout Publikums Award 2019". Hotels, roller coasters and events were among the winners.

Visitors to Phantasialand can currently stroll through the sea of lights in their winter dream. In addition to shows specially developed for the cold season, visitors can also enjoy their own selection of food and fireworks at the end of the day. The winter dream, which runs from November to January, has now been voted Germany's best amusement park event at the "Parkscout Publikums Award 2019". This was announced by Phantasialand.

"The combination of all these facets makes the winter dream so unique and we are delighted that it is so well received by our guests far beyond Christmas and into January", says Phantasialand spokeswoman Birgit Reckersdrees according to the press release.

The VR roller coaster "Crazy Bats", inaugurated this summer, was awarded as the best amusement park novelty. With this concept, the guests wear virtual reality glasses and travel through a three-dimensional world.

The theme hotels in Phantasialand also took top places at the Parkscout Publikums Award. The Asian Hotel Ling Bao and the African Hotel Matamba came first and second in the "Best Theme Hotel" category.

Around 50,000 participants took part in the "Parkscout Publikums Award" survey and cast their votes, according to the press release. A total of 16 awards were presented.
