Bonn · The 54th Super Bowl in the USA takes place overnight from February 2 to 3. Football fans in Bonn and the region will also want to watch it live - here is where you can go to see this major sporting event in public.
It is the largest single sporting event in the world: the final of the US National Football League (NFL), the Super Bowl, which takes place on the first Sunday in February. In this 54th Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will compete against each other at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, overnight from February 2 to 3 (game officially starts at midnight Central European Time).
Many football fans in Bonn and the region will not want to miss out on the big game and of course the always spectacular half-time entertainment. Here, we tell you where the Super Bowl 2020 can be watched by the public in the night from February 2 to 3.
Super Bowl at the Dubliner
Once again in 2020, the Super Bowl can be watched with other fans in the Dubliner Irish pub on Maxstraße. Admission is free and the screen is "extra large", according to the organizers. There will also be some "great" snacks. Reservations can be made via Facebook message on the bar's website.

Kameha Grand Bonn
Real football flair is expected during the "Grand Football Night" at the Kameha: The Bonn Gamecocks football team will be present at the Super Bowl Night and, according to the information released, they want to transform the hotel into an "arena of excitement, sportsmanship and American football flair". There will also be typical American food and beer pong games. The entrance fee for the public viewing this year is 20 euros (five euros entrance, 15 euros consumption) and includes a ticket for a home game of the Bonn Gamecocks.

The Cineplex welcomes the public to watch the game in the movie theater. Visitors can treat themselves to cinema snacks.

The Super Bowl will also be celebrated on the big screen at the Bad Godesberg Kinopolis. The cinema advertises the event, featuring "comfortable armchairs, great picture and super sound". Tickets cost 8.50 euros in advance.

Super Bowl at the Lanxess Arena
For the second time, the Lanxess Arena in Cologne-Deutz is also hosting a public viewing of the Super Bowl. The coverage of German network Pro Sieben will be transmitted into the hall on the huge video cube. The station will also switch live to the arena several times during the broadcast. Inside the arena there will be event displays all about football. Typical American snacks will be served. Tickets are available for ten euros at Bonnticket.
