Corks will be flying in Bonn and the region on December 31, 2018 as people come together to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Here are just some of the places where you can go and what it will cost you.
Bonn Christmas Circus
The Bonn Christmas Circus welcomes guests to a big New Year's Eve gala. Because they have been performing for their "loyal audience" for so long, the team promises a program with "world-class artists, breathtaking show acts and funny clowns".
This year, the circus will once again be at its regular venue at the fairgrounds at Siegburger Straße 178 in Beuel. Ticket prices start at 21.65 euros for adults. It starts at 8 p.m., admission is one hour earlier. There will be a fireworks display to ring in the New Year and an after-show party. Food and beverages are also provided. New Year's Eve in Bonn hotels
Like every year, New Year's Eve will be celebrated in 2018 at the major hotels in Bonn. This year, the Kameha Grand takes a journey back in time to the 1920’s. The party starts at 9 pm, and the price of 49 euros includes a glass of champagne, a live band, special acts and DJs as well as fireworks.
On the 17th floor of the Marriott, guests can expect a 5-course menu from chef Alexander Stadler with mackerel, veal cheeks and purple imperial plum for 155 euros. It all begins at 6pm with an aperitif and finger food. Later, you can enjoy the fireworks from the terrace and celebrate, accompanied by a DJ. The Maritim offers a gala with music, dance and fireworks. Guest receive an aperitif, followed by a festive pasta and salad buffet. Tickets can be purchased online and cost 94.60 euros.
For those who don’t want the dinner, but want to join the rest of the celebration, the tickets cost 74.50 euros and are available here. For 344 euros per person guests can stay overnight in the hotel following the celebration and enjoy a late riser breakfast on New Year's morning.
In the Ameron Hotel Königshof, one of the most popular Bonn party series, the "After Job Party", celebrates directly at the Rhine to ring in the New Year for 2019. It begins at 9pm and tickets are available for 26 euros here.
Party in the Biskuithalle
Once again there will be a New Year's Eve party in the former Biskuithalle. The organizers have set themselves the goal of reviving the flair of the music venue in Beuel's Brückenforum with its originals for one night. The party begins at 8 pm. Tickets cost 17.90 euros and are available here.
Feast and then celebrate
In the Meyer's Restaurant in Bonn, there is a dinner buffet on New Year's Eve for 36.50 euros. If you want to dance after dinner, you can then head to the party in Havana. Dance ball in Bad Godesberg
The Bonn Turnverein 1860 e.V. (Gymnastics Club 1860) invites you to the big New Year's Eve ball in the Bad Godesberg Stadthalle. Naturally, it's all about dancing. The professional dance couples Mathias and Carina Rochlitz from Blau-Gold Rondo Bonn as well as Hanna Junk and Tobias Thobe from TTC Rot-Gold Köln have confirmed their attendance. Guests can watch the professionals dance and also dance themselves to the music of The Andy Simon Septetts. There will also be a three-course dinner menu. 80’s party at "Sofa"
"Das Sofa" offers the only New Year's Eve party in Bonn that is completely dedicated to the 80’s with "That's 80 New Year's Eve Special". Beside pop, new wave, punk, indie, dance, rock and synthpop, starting at 10 p.m. there are colorful neon lights, candy cotton and candy sparkles. Two dance floors in Windeck
The Windeck event hall Kabelmetal offers celebrations on two dance floors. Dance floor 1 features mainstream pop and rock, Dance floor 2 offers 60’s and 70’s rock and more. Admission begins at 7 pm, the first dance floor opens at 8: 30 pm, the second at 10 pm. Tickets cost 16 euros and are available at Bonnticket.
Metalheads celebrate earlier
This year, heavy metal fans can celebrate New Year's Eve with Uncle Tom, Hornado and Wolfen at Kubana in Siegburg. Tickets for the early New Year's Eve concert are available here for 28.90 euros.
Longest fireworks display in Phantasialand
Phantasialand in Brühl is also celebrating the New Year: There are various packages available here. Whether rock night with The Upbeat Beatles at Stock's, Asian New Year's Eve at the restaurant Bamboo, party time in Wuze Town or a jungle party for children - there is something for everyone and whole packages can be put together for a New Year's Eve holiday at the theme park. Bläck Fööss in the Lanxess Arena
What began in 1999 as a one-time event now comes to a terrific end this year with the 20th edition. On December 31, 2018, the New Year's Eve concert of the Cologne cult band Bläck Fööss will take place for the last time in the Lanxess-Arena. Fans will be entertained well after midnight. The Cologne-based host Linus will ensure a good mood with his wit and jolly spirit, helping the audience ring in the New Year. It is also the 50th anniversary year of Bläck Fööss. There are still tickets for different categories available (32 euros to 121 euros). The evening begins at 9 pm.
