What kind of relationships are created, and how do the real relationships of the young people and their behaviour among each other change? These were the questions at the beginning of the development of the play 'You are the Reason', written by six young people from the young theatre ensemble of the Junge Theater Bonn together with artistic director Moritz Seibert. ‚You are the Reason' is not suitable for viewers under the age of 13.

Bilingual information evening on the maternity ward at the Johanniter Hospital

The maternity ward of the Johanniter Hospital in Bonn is organising its next information evening about the maternity ward on February 6, at 6 p.m. in the Great Hall (4th floor) of the Johanniter Hospital, Johanniterstr. 3-5, 53113 Bonn, Germany. Expectant parents are cordially invited to participate. Since many people who have not learned German as their mother tongue live in Bonn as a UN location, the information evening will be offered in German and English. A previous registration is not necessary.

Get to know the doctors and midwives of the maternity ward as well as the delivery room. The maternity ward at Johanniter Hospital, where a paediatrician from the St. Augustin Children's Hospital is present every day, offers everything you need to support expectant parents. The midwives are trained to offer expectant parents extensive possibilities for individual birth in one of the four delivery rooms, such as in the birthing pool or on aspecial chair. In addition, the delivery room has a midwifery centre where birth preparation courses as well as postnatal gymnastics, PEKiP or baby massage are offered. And the fully equipped operating theatre also provides a lot of reassurance for expectant parents. It is directly connected to the delivery rooms for emergencies.

In addition to other midwives, nurses, specially trained children's nurses and lactation consultants are available on the maternity ward for the all-round care of mothers and children. In addition to the comfortable single rooms, family rooms are also available. This allows parents to spend their first valuable time together with their newborns. A further highlight is the "Stillcafe", which rounds off the offer.
