Autumnal forecast Weather rather uncomfortable at the start of the week

Bonn · The start of the week is rather uncomfortable weather-wise for Bonn and the region. There is even a storm front forecast which will bring not only colder temperatures but also rain.

After the first proper snow appeared in Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bavaria over the weekend even in the lowlands, the new week is starting particularly uncomfortably, in Bonn and the region too. The storm front will stretch across Germany and according to the prognosis will hit North Rhine-Westphalia too.

As a spokesperson of the German Weather Service (DWD) said on Sunday, the highest temperatures in the region are expected to be between three and ten degrees. Monday will see a lot of grey skies and some rain.

On Tuesday, storm squalls can be expected, and the rain probability (or „brollability“ as some might call it) will rise to 90 percent. „It is quite cool for this time of year“, said the spokesperson. On Wednesday the weather will be a bit milder again, with highest temperatures around 13 degrees in Bonn and surrounds. On Thursday they could even be as high as 15 degrees.
