Opposite Bonn Central Station U.S. burger chain “Five Guys” comes to Bonn
Bonn · There will be a prominent newcomer to the Bonn restaurant scene in the future. The American burger chain "Five Guys" will open a branch opposite Bonn Central Station. And a well-known sporting goods company will move into Urban Soul.
Many burger fans from the Rhineland will be happy to hear this news: The U.S. burger chain "Five Guys" will open a branch opposite Bonn Central Station. This was announced by the press office of the "Urban Soul" complex on Friday.
In Germany, the fast-food restaurant chain already has two locations in Berlin and in Munich, one in the Centro shopping center in Oberhausen, one in Frankfurt and one in Essen.
The developers of “Urban Soul”, 80 percent of whose space is now occupied, also announced further tenants. Besides the burger chain, the sporting goods store JD Sports will open its first branch in Bonn. The company from Great Britain sells sneakers and streetwear; a flagship store designed for two floors is planned.
Another Starbucks will open in the basement at the entrances to the subway and the main station opposite the Lidl market.
Up to now, it had been announced that Motel One was moving in as the main tenant. Customers can also look forward to the Sander Restaurant, the XtraFit fitness studio and Lidl.
"Urban Soul" is scheduled to open in the summer of 2020, with the hotel currently scheduled to follow in the fourth quarter of 2020. The opposite-facing City Office would be ready in the 2nd quarter of 2020. Discussions are currently underway on the remaining free retail and catering space.
