Two young men believe to be in their teens, are accused of attacking a 68-year-old man on Gudenauer Weg in Bonn-Ippendorf. The incident occurred at 8:20pm on Wednesday evening. Police report that the man was walking on the street when he was attacked from behind and thrown to the ground. He screamed loudly for help, and the two attackers ran away. The 68-year-old was slightly injured, and his eyeglasses were damaged.
Police conducted an immediate search of the area but could not find the unidentified perpetrators. The young attackers are believed to be between 16 and 20-years-old and 1.75 to 1.8 meters tall. They wore hooded jackets with the hoods pulled over their heads. At the time of the crime, they were both dressed overall in dark clothing.
