One person was injured in a kitchen fire in Friesdorf on Wednesday evening. According to the fire department, 30 firefighters moved out to a single-family house on the street "Im Wiesengrund" at 6:53 pm. There the fire was on the first floor of the three-story building. Two people had already taken refuge at that time, but two others had taken refuge in the back of the house.
After the fire had been extinguished, they were led outside by the emergency services. One person had to be taken to hospital. Because the first floor of the house is no longer habitable according to the report, the other three people were accommodated with relatives. The fire department was able to get the fire under control quickly. The operation was completed by 8.30 pm. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
