Opening of the BTHVN week 2020

One week - 16 concerts: For the people of Bonn there is a lot to discover from 17 January to 9 February. The BTHVN Week 2020, as part of the anniversary edition to mark Beethoven's 250th birthday, revolves around the composer's entire chamber music. The development and variety of chamber music works will be the main focus. The 16 concerts are spread over four blocks and begin with an opening concert of the Beethoven-Haus in the Bundeskunsthalle.

Klaus Maria Brandauer on the Petersberg

Mephisto comes to Königswinter: Within the framework of the BTHVN Week 2020, the Austrian actor and director Klaus Maria Brandauer visits the Steinberger Grandhotel on the Petersberg. As an antagonist of James Bond, Brandauer appeared alongside Sean Connery in „Never say never again" and on Friday evening, accompanied by piano music, he will talk about his idol Ludwig van Beethoven.

Gretchen's answer: Turn up the swing!

At the Haus der Springmaus the four Berlin singers of "Gretchens Antwort" want to revive the Roaring Twenties. But the Swing does not come alone, but as a wild mixture with rap, rock and pop of today.

Who is behind the windows of the large hotel in the Varieté-Theater? A mysterious permanent guest and the chic diva? Or a beautiful chambermaid? With artistry, dance and acting, the new show takes a look behind the scenes of the "Grand Hotel".

Andrea Berg at the Lanxess Arena

Fancy some German Schlagermusik? 28 years ago Andrea Berg started her career with her debut album "Du bist frei". In the meantime, the German pop singer has already climbed to the top of the German charts several times and fills concert halls all over Germany. With the current album "Mosaik" she also stops at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne

Prunksitzung 2020

The Prunksitzung of the KG Wiesse Müüs association will take place in the Maritim Hotel. Besides bands like Klüngelköpp and the Höhner, the Bonn city soldiers and the newly proclaimed prince and princess are also part of the program.

Guided tours through Ahrweiler

The town of Ahrweiler entices with excellent red wine, medieval town walls and gates. Ahrweiler can be examined more closely in guided tours of the (old) town. A tour visits the medieval sights of the old town in two hours. For wine lovers, the guided tour of the old town is decorated with little tall tales and a wine tasting afterwards.

Pink Punk Pantheon

Fritz Litzmann and Hermann Schwaderlappen alias Rainer Pause and Norbert Alich have successfully started the 2020 session of the cabaret carnival revue. If you want to get tickets for performances at the weekend, you have to be fast. "Pink Punk Pantheon" serves up the top themes of the past year, cleaning up with Beethoven and e-scooters. For the first time, Stephan Ohm will be the director.

Sleeping Beauty in Rex

Since 1946, the Russian Ballet's production of "Sleeping Beauty" has been thrilling audiences. The film from 2006 with music by Ilyich Tchaikovsky is shown on the screen of the Rex-Lichtspieltheater.

Swinging Beethoven

The quartet from Cologne takes the audience on a short journey through time: Swing music from the 30's, the film culture from the 70's and 80's, up to the Beethoven anniversary year 2020. "Swinging Beethoven - The Em Höttche danced" will be accompanied by the moderation of Helmut Loos.
