Dottendorf Jazz Night

The music series in Dottendorf moves into the next round on Friday: The soloist Christian Padberg improvises his music with a loop machine, which can repeat each of his sound structures individually. Alone he can bring a whole orchestra on stage in this way. "Dad's Phonkey solo-a-cappella-loop-improvisations" inspires with world music, jazz up to funk music.

"A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel"

With a good tribute band there is more than just simple replaying. Especially the music of the cult duo Simon & Garfunkel requires a great deal of passion and dedication. The five-piece revival band "A Tribute To Simon & Garfunkel" brings "Mrs. Robinson" and "The Sound of Silence" into the harmony of Bonn.

Fritz Litzmann and Hermann Schwaderlappen alias Rainer Pause and Norbert Alich started last Friday into the Session 2020 of the cabaret carnival revue. "Pink Punk Pantheon" serves up the top themes of the past year, cleaning up with Beethoven and e-scooters. For the first time Stephan Ohm will direct the show.

Who is behind the windows of the large hotel in the Varieté-Theater? A mysterious permanent guest and the chic diva? Or a beautiful chambermaid? With artistry, dance and acting, the new show takes a look behind the scenes of the "Grand Hotel".

If you feel like a bit of ice skating or curling, "Bonn on Ice" at the Stadtgarten is the place to be. Because on the approximately 1300 square meters large ice surface it is easy to glide. Afterwards, a stop at the mulled wine stand or the snack bar is possible.

The town of Ahrweiler entices with excellent red wine, medieval town walls and gates. Ahrweiler can be examined more closely in guided tours of the (old) town. A tour visits the medieval sights of the old town in two hours. For wine lovers, the guided tour of the old town is embellished with little tall tales and a wine tasting afterwards.

Many fans consider the first years of the British rock band "Genesis" to be the most significant. Therefore the tribute band "The Path Of Genesis" plays mainly the titles of the albums released in the mid 70s. The five-piece group also wants to revive the beginnings of Genesis in the Bonn Harmony.

As part of the Beethoven Year 2020, the Federal Youth Orchestra will perform the Fidelio Overture and the 5th Symphony by the famous composer in the auditorium of Bonn University. Klaus Huber's „Tenebrae for large orchestra“ is also on the programme.

Shakespeare is not for children? Nonsense. In Jens Groß's version, the classic "Midsummer Night's Dream" is told from a perspective suitable for children. This way, the mute elves of Titania come on stage suitable even for young eyes.
