After a collision between a car and a ten-year-old female cyclist on the Brüser Berg, police are asking the driver to come forward. Police announced on Thursday that they were looking for the driver of a grey car from an unknown manufacturer who had been involved in a collision with a ten-year-old female cyclist on Weimarer Straße on 7 February.

At the time of the accident, around 4.15 p.m., the girl was riding her bicycle on the sidewalk. Then she drove against the grey car, which suddenly turned off in front of her, the police said. The ten-year-old was slightly injured in the collision. The driver is said to have got out of the car and inquired about the girl's well-being, but then drove away without providing his personal details.

According to witnesses, the driver was a 70-year-old man who spoke "with a slight accent", the police said. The letter "L" is also said to have been in the middle of the license plate.

The Bonn police asked the person involved in the accident to report to them. Anyone who can also give information about the accident, the vehicle or the driver is asked to report to the investigators at 0228/15-0.
