Bad Godesberg Summer Festival Robbie Williams tribute band will be a highlight

Bad Godesberg · More than 60 clubs are taking part in the 43rd Bad Godesberg Summer Festival on 8 July. Sir Williams, the Robbie Williams tribute band, will be one of highlights.

There will be lots to see and do in the Kurpark on Saturday 8 July. Bad Godesberg district administrative office is organising the traditional summer festival for the 43rd time. “We have more than 60 clubs and organisations from and representing Bad Godesberg taking part this year,” says Maria Meißner, who is organising the festival for the first time.

The main stage will set up at the corner of Kurfürstenallee/Am Kurpark and there will be a second stage near the pond behind the town hall. The programme will start at noon.

Meißner’s personal highlight and the closing act on the main stage is Sir Williams. The tribute band will play British singer Robbie Williams’ greatest hits from 7.30pm.

“There will also be 60 stands throughout the entire Kurpark. A really colourful programme – I think there is something for everyone,” says Meißner. “There will be music, from German brass music to Columbian rhythms, there will be a soccer court in the middle of the area and lots of types of food.” For the very young, there will be the classic bouncy castle. And something exciting: “The children can also ride in the BonnOrange garbage trucks.”
