After corona infections in Bonn Refugees move to youth hostel
Bonn · As of this Wednesday, the district government of Cologne will accommodate refugees in the youth hostel at Venusberg. The hostel is intended primarily to accommodate risk groups and families with children.
A youth hostel in Bonn will become a refugee accommodation: as of this Wednesday, the district government of Cologne wants to use the youth hostel on the Venusberg. According to the notification, there will be room there especially for potential corona risk groups and families with children.
Accommodations in Cologne, Kerpen and Euskirchen will be relieved
The refugee facilities in Cologne and Kerpen as well as Euskirchen are to be relieved initially by the newly created places in order to comply even better with the applicable distance and hygiene regulations. It is possible to accommodate up to 269 people in the youth hostel.
A rental agreement for the next six months has already been concluded. The accommodation is managed by the DRK-Nordrhein who are also responsible for the initial reception facility in Bonn. This is to ensure a uniform care concept.
