Easter weekend Opening hours - shops and services
BONN · Expect opening hours to be different over the long Easter weekend.
Over the long Easter weekend from Good Friday until Easter Monday, expect opening hours of shops and institutions to be different than normal. Most stores are closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but shoppers have Saturday to stock up on what they need. Bonn city administration services are also not available during the long weekend and city libraries are closed.
Indoor swimming pools will remain open. Frankenbad is open Friday, Saturday and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kurfürstenbad is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Beueler Bütt from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Hardtberg pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They are all closed on Easter Sunday. Monte Mare in Rheinbach, however is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (actual pool closes at 6:30 p.m). Some museums will also be open for part of the long weekend; check their websites or call before you go.
