Independent Bonn International School IBIS Open Day this Saturday

Bonn · The Independent Bonn International School will open its doors to prospective parents and students on Saturday.

The Independent Bonn International School (known as IBIS) is having an Open Day this Saturday, 27 October, from 10am to 1pm. Families are invited to tour the school and learn more about the teaching environment as well as sampling lessons and meeting teachers and current pupils and their families.

Headteacher Philip Wharton and teachers will be on hand during the morning to give information and answer questions. There will be musical performances by students and the Volunteer IBIS Parents will be providing refreshments in the school hall.

Founded in 1963, IBIS is a private, international, English-speaking school that currently has 249 students from 44 countries ranging from kindergarten to years 7/8. As well as regular lessons, which now include the chance to learn Spanish or French, a wide variety of sporting and musical activities are offered. The school serves both the international community and local families interested in an alternative to the German school system.
