What’s special about this place: During the day the bistro is a normal grocery store for shopping but also a place where you can get a snack. Syrian supermarket

If you are looking for Syrian specialties, take a look at "Kiwans" store in the Hardtberg district of Bonn. The delicatessen was founded by a Syrian family who fled to Germany in 2014 before the civil war. Here you can find veal and chicken from the region, but also lamb meat from England. In addition to broccoli and melons, the fruit and vegetable assortment also offers cactus figs and Syrian cucumbers. Also on offer are freshly prepared foods such as humus, falafel and eggplant and almond purée.
