Turmstraße closed Detours for Bus line 611
Plittersdorf. · Passengers using bus line 611 from Plittersdorf are advised of alternate stops and routes due to ongoing canal work.
Canal work has begun between Kanalstraße and Wurzerstraße in the vicinity of Turmstraße. Because of this, Turmstraße in that area will be closed to through traffic. Work is planned to continue until the end of 2016. Bus line 611 will follow a detour route.
In the direction to Bad Godesberg Mitte – Heiderhof, busses will leave from the Kennedyallee stop on to Donatusstraße, Leonardsstraße, Sibyllenstraße, Wurzerstraße to the stop Mittelstraße and then continue along the normal line. In the direction Plittersdorf – Bonn central train station, buses will leave from the replacement stop at Plittersdorf Mitte and drive on Mittelstraße, then Wurzerstraße, Sibyllenstraße, Leonardstraße, Donatusstraße to replacement stop Steubenring and then over Kennedyallee, Ludwig-Erhard-Alle to the stop Kennedyallee and continue on the regular line.
Stops: The stop Steubenring of Line 611 in the direction Bonn central station-Lessenich will be moved across to Kennedyallee.
The stop Kanalstraße is cancelled in both directions. Passengers will instead be offered a stop on Leonardusstraße at Sibyllenstraße.
The stop Steinhaus of Line 611 will be cancelled in both directions. Passengers are advised that they should use the stop at Wurzerstraße/Sibyllenstraße. (ck)
