Advent on the Ahr Bad Neuenahr “Riverside Lights” shine again
Bad Neuenahr · The “Uferlichter” (“Riverside Lights”) are glowing again in Bad Neuenahr. Visitors will find culinary treats, Christmas stands and a lovely ambience in the spa park.
They are glowing again, the Bad Neuenahrer “Riverside Lights”. The event makes for a unique kind of Christmas world in the ambient spa park at the Ahr River. It was opened on Friday evening. For a total of 13 days until December 30, the stands in the park will be open, offering visitors culinary delights. In addition, there are also Christmas stands open, with merchants offering their wares.
Anyone who took a first stroll through the festively staged Christmas world of the spa park was impressed by the multitude of illuminated objects. The fact that the shore lights shine so brightly this year is due to around 80 volunteers, who already started to create the lavish decorations on the Ahr and the spa garden bridge back in summer. At the opening, the volunteers and sponsors were thanked for making it all possible.
The "Riverside Lights" are open on Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 2 p.m. on the remaining Advent weekends. From December 27th to 30th, the restaurant is open daily at 4 p.m.. On the 25th and 26th of December the shore lights will be glowing, but the stands will remain closed on these days.
