This year in 2017, the American German Business Club Bonn is planning some new formats throughout the year. One of the offers will be an event to be held generally on every third Thursday of the month in the evening. The kick off will be on Thursday, February 16, from 7 - 10 pm at the Digital Hub Bonn, Rheinwerkalle 6.

Guest speaker for the event will be Athanasios Titonis, Chief Operating Officer of Cologne/Bonn airport. He is expected to talk about some of the challenges of running an international airport in a largely competitive environment. Passenger numbers keep on growing and airlines are under pressure to keep flight prices down. This results in many airlines running into financial trouble. Still, airports have become much more than just a place to pass through on the way to somewhere else.

The public is invited to this speaking event, and attendees are asked to please register in advance.
