Bonn Climate Change Conference Access restricted in parts of the Rheinaue from Monday

Bonn · Works begin on the tent city for the World Climate Conference on Monday Parts of the Rheinaue and certain car parks will be closed until December.

As reported, works for the tent city on the Blumenwiese area of the Rheinaue begin on Monday. The World Climate Conference COP 23 will take place from 6 to 17 November in the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) and in the container constructions in the tent city.

Areas of the Blumenwiese and behind Deutsche Welle will therefore remain fenced off and closed until the constructions are dismantled at the end of December.

The car park on Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße will also be closed from Monday as well as parts of the Rheinaue car park on Ludwig-Erhard-Allee. The mini-golf course will stay open and its car park will continue to be available to visitors to a limited extent.
