Bad Godesberg street crime 34-year-old robbed at gunpoint
BAD GODESBERG · Late on Tuesday, a man who was walking on Roonstraße in Bad Godesberg was threatened with a gun and robbed. Police are searching for the suspect.
A 34-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint while he was underway on Roonstraße in Bad Godesberg at around 10:25 pm on Tuesday night. Police say he was approached and spoken to from behind. The perpetrator threatened the man with a pistol and demanded his cell phone and money.
The victim handed over the phone and money, and the robber fled in the direction of Plittersdorfer Straße. The 34-year-old went home and then called the police.
Police directed a search for the suspect but could not locate him. He is described as around 1.9 to 1.95 meters tall, with a thin build and what is called a “Südlandische” appearance. This generally refers to a darker complexion and dark hair. He wore a blue winter coat and a cap.
