Background remains unclear 24-year-old still silent after fall from monastery garage

Bonn · On the evening of December 17, a 24-year-old fell from the Stiftsgarage in Bonn. According to the doctors, he will recover completely. However, the young adult remains silent about the incident.

The 24-year-old, who fell from the top floor of the Stiftsgarage on the evening of December 17, will, according to the doctors treating him, recover completely and can leave the hospital soon. This was explained on Friday by the Bonn police on request. Why he fled from the officers and climbed over the balustrade is still unclear.

"He made no statements to the investigating officers," a spokesman said. Only this much is certain: So far there are no indications that the man was involved in a criminal offence. Before December 17, he had "been inconspicuous". This means that the 24-year-old is not known to the police. As reported, the man had flung himself off the balustrade while fleeing from a patrol and had fallen about 15 meters to the ground. He had sustained severeinjuries.
