Hardtberg-Ippendorf The production company "bildundtonfabrik" is shooting scenes for the Netflix series "How to sell drugs online (fast)" in Ippendorf. The backdrop is currently Spreestraße. The series also runs in English.
An employee of the road safety company Cineblock, which specializes in securing filming locations, receives a message on his radio that he should block off Spreestrasse again. He pulls a construction site barrier onto the road and positions several pylons. A motorist stops, lets his window down and calls out to the employee: "Ey, why can't I go this way now?". Behind him the cars are jammed, a female driver honks her horn. The employee explains that it would only take a short time because filming was taking place.
But he won't tell you what's being filmed. A resident of Spreestrasse stands in front of his house and looks into the side street of Spreestraße - there they are filming at the house with the number 11. "Unfortunately, I don't know what they are shooting," the elderly gentleman tells the GA. He had received two letters informing residents of the intermittent closures and the production vehicles. The film was only being shot on Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to midnight. The letter also reveals that the large film crew would be shooting the second season of a Netflix series about a story of young people growing up.
Production company is known for comedy formats
The filming will be carried out by the Cologne production company "bildundtonfabrik". The company is known mainly for comedy formats. However, the film team doesn't say exactly what will be filmed in Bonn - neither on location nor by telephone. Tina Sonanini, head of shooting on location, referred inquiries to the office in Cologne, which did not want to provide any information by telephone. The production company also left a written inquiry unanswered at the time of going to press. According to GA information, the second season of "How to sell drugs online (fast)" ("Wie man Drogen online verkauft (schnell)") was being filmed. In early July, Netflix announced that there would be a second season of the series, which would be available on the streaming portal from 2020. The focus of the comedy series is Nerd Moritz Zimmermann (Maximilian Mundt), who starts Europe's biggest online drug trade out of heartache - but initially with some bumps along the way.
According to Netflix, shooting was expected to begin in Cologne and the surrounding area in autumn. A total of six half-hour episodes will be filmed. The scripts will be written by Sebastian Colley, Mats Frey, Natalie Thomas and Stefan Titze, directed by Arne Feldhusen and Mia Spengler. In the second season, the main character Moritz puts in a lot of effort into his enterprise, making his "business" even more successful and dangerous.
