The organization Fridays for Future is planning another demonstration in the city center in the last week of November. The meeting point will be the Bonn Marktplatz at 9:30 am on Friday, November 29. As part of the global climate strike, the initiative is intended to send out a signal before the World Climate Summit in Madrid on December 2 that the Paris climate agreement must be upheld, according to the organizers.

The demonstration will also mark the end of the climate strike week at universities throughout Germany. The Bonn university group of Fridays for Future is also planning an extensive event at the university from November 25 to 29. Regular lectures will take place, some of them in a different kind of style, and will be open to the public. "Climate crisis and climate justice are topics that affect almost all areas of our lives and the whole earth and every part of society.

We believe that almost every teaching activity can be linked to this topic", explained Julia Burghardt (23), student at the University of Bonn and co-organizer of the climate event week. In addition to the lectures, the university group has also organized an evening program. The activists want to publish details about it soon. The organization Fridays for Future has already demonstrated in Bonn. And there was also a climate camp set up on the Hofgarten park area in Bonn.
