The organisers have registered 8,000 to 10,000 participants for the central Germany-wide rally next Tuesday at Münsterplatz in Bonn for the period from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Already starting from the early morning hours, substantial traffic obstructions can be expected on all passage roads in the city area. Allegedly 700 farmers want to drive their tractors to Bonn. Convoys from the Lower Rhine, Emsland or Bad Kreuznach have been announced. The vehicles will all be parked on the grassland of the Bonn farmer Marcus Vianden in Schwarzrheindorf north of the north bridge.

Düsseldorf Airport affected: Warning strike causes flight cancellations in Cologne

Cologne. Flight attendants of Lufthansa subsidiaries Eurowings, Germanwings, Lufthansa Cityline and Sunexpress are on strike since Sunday morning. This also has an impact on air traffic at Cologne/Bonn Airport and in Düsseldorf.

Against the military offensive: Thousands of Kurdish demos in German cities

Cologne. On Saturday, thousands of people in Cologne protested in several German cities against the Turkish military offensive in Northern Syria. The demonstrations were largely peaceful. In Cologne, for example, no escalation was feared.
