B 56 repairs Road closed for four nights
Beuel · The B 56 in Bonn-Beuel will be closed for four nights in a row, between 8pm and 5am, in the first week of July. Diversions will be sign-posted.
The Civil Engineering Office has ordered the replacement of the manhole covers on the B 56 on the Sankt Augustiner Straße between Monday, July 3, and Friday, July 7. The affected area is between Niederkasseler Straße (L 16) and Gartenstraße. The manholes are damaged and the covers are not fitting properly any more.
The urgent works will be done overnight from 8pm until 5am, leading to complete road closures on the Sankt Augustiner Straße between Niederkasseler Straße and Gartenstraße. During the day, the road will be open. The Civil Engineering office is planning to get the works done smoothly and within the scheduled time. The city council is asking for some understanding regarding to unavoidable adverse effects.
