Number in Bonn rises to 900 Nextbike delivers last rental bikes
Bonn · The number of rental bikes in Bonn continues to grow. Nextbike is currently delivering the last bikes ordered by Stadtwerke. This brings the total number of available rental bikes to 900.
The company Nextbike wants to deliver the final rental bikes by carnival. This was announced on Tuesday by Veronika John, spokeswoman for the Bonn public utility (SWB). Nextbike had announced that it would bring 180 bikes into the city this week and provide the last 140 bikes by Weiberfastnacht. This, John said, would make all the 900 bikes ordered available to the citizens. Nextbike will act as a service provider for SWB and take over the provision and maintenance of the bikes. Recently there had been bottlenecks in production.
