Street Food Market in Bad Godesberg Burgers, slow food and marshmallow ice-cream
bad Godesberg · This weekend is going to be yummy: The first „Food lovers - Street Food Market“ in Bad Godesberg is taking place at the Theaterplatz today, tomorrow and Monday.
To invite visitors on a culinary trip around the world, 25 different food trucks are offering their gastronomic specialities - among them classic burgers, deep-fried ice-cream, asian cuisine, slow food from the smoker and vegan foods. For people with a sweet tooth, there will be BBQ marshmallow ice-cream, frozen yoghurt and bubble waffles. „This has nothing to do with fast food“, according to the „Food Lovers“ team.
„The dishes get prepared from fresh ingredients directly before the visitors’ eyes.“ In many countries, food trucks and mobile kitchens offering selected, affordable dishes are part of the cityscape. But it’s not just all about the food: A broad entertainment program with local music artists will complete the event, say the organizers, who work together with the Bad Godesberg Stadtmarketing.
The street food market at the Theaterplatz will be opened on Saturday, April 29, and Sunday, April 30, from 12 noon till 10pm, as well as Monday, May 1, from 12 noon till 7pm. The admission is free.
