Late summer weather Warm temperatures to return to Bonn
Bonn · Don’t be too quick to put away the shorts and T-shirts and get out the fall sweaters. More warm weather is on the way.
A warm weather system is headed to Bonn and should bring warm summer temperatures back on Tuesday. After a weekend with rainy and stormy periods, beautiful warm weather is expected to return - right at the beginning of the meteorological autumn.
“Until the coming weekend, swimming/sunbathing weather is guaranteed,” reported the German Weather Service (DWD) on Sunday. On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to climb to 25°C and from Wednesday until Friday, they could reach 26 - 30°C.
Because of the late summer weather, Bonn outdoor swimming pools have extended their open season until Sunday, September 11. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 am - 7 pm and on Saturday/Sunday from 11 am - 7 pm.
For Beer Gardens, the prognosis is also good even if the evening hours of daylight are getting shorter. According to DWD, September is the fourth warmest month of the year, ahead of May.
