BONN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Visitors welcome to Open House at BIS

Bonn · Bonn International School invites anyone who is interested to attend its Open House coming up next week. Visitors will be able to have a look around and observe a typical school day.

Bonn International School (BIS) will be holding an Open House on Tuesday, September 19 from 8:30 am until 12 noon. Families with kindergarten or school-aged children or even those who are just interested in learning more about the school will be able to come in and see what the school has to offer.

BIS is an English language, all-day school with 670 students attending. It encompasses kindergarten/pre-school through Grade 12. The school serves Bonn’s international community as well as German families who are interested in an alternative to the local school system.

The modern and well-equipped school is located in Bonn-Plittersdorf at the southern end of the Rheinaue Park. Most students receive the International Baccalaureate when they graduate, although some receive a high school diploma.

BIS Open House will allow visitors to observe a typical day of school, with students attending their normal classes. All classrooms, laboratories, library and sports facilities will be open. School staff and parent representatives will be on hand to answer questions and show guests around.

The school is located at Martin Luther King Str. 14. Those who wish to attend are asked to please register by contacting: development@bonn-is.de
