April 19–22 Tips for the weekend in Bonn and the region

Bonn/Region · Playmobil, comedy, music, a touch of Easter and much more: The weekend in Bonn and the region has a lot to offer again. Here are our tips for the weekend April 19–22.

Friday 19 April

Playmobil exhibition in the Deutsches Museum

The hearts of Playmobil fans big and small will now beat faster at the Deutsches Museum in Bonn: from Friday onwards, thousands of Playmobil figures will be on display there. The special show "Playmobil Technology History(s)" can be seen until 25 August. Funny search stories, a one-hour guided tour for children aged four to ten, an animated film workshop for young filmmakers aged eight to fourteen and much more are also on show at the Playmobil exhibition in the Deutsches Museum in Bonn. One guided tour, for example, deals with the question "dot, dot, stroke: why Playmobil figures don't have noses - and other exciting technical stories".

Saturday, 20 April

“Frau Müller has to go” at the Schauspielhaus

The setting for the teacher drama “Frau Müller has to go” is the gymnasium, wonderfully authentically furnished by Maria Strauch (stage and costumes). Everything is there: wall bars, bars and horse, medicine balls and the long, narrow bench. Standard of equipment: early 1970s. Five people have come to get rid of the teacher of 4b, Sabine Müller (Ursula Grossenbacher). She did not have the class under control, the children would suffer - and so would the grades. Play with great success.

Myth Marlene

Style icon, femme fatale, screen legend – no superlative is too big for Marlene Dietrich. In her celebrated revue and homage “Mythos Marlene”, Kerstin Marie Mäkelburg bows to the German world star. With a smoky voice, she interprets the great musical Dietrich classics and brings anecdotes from the multi-layered life of the diva to the ears. Now she comes to Bonn for the first time in Malentes Theater Palast.
