Festival in Bonn These acts are coming to Panama Open Air 2019

BONN · Numerous stars from the electro music scene are coming to Bonn on the second weekend in July. The programme also includes yoga and wellness courses as well as music. Here’s an overview.

More than 25,000 visitors are expected at the Panama Open Air Festival in Bonn’s Rheinaue on 12 and 13 July. The organisers from Rheinevents not only want to present music on the total of five stages but also want to be a “holiday substitute”, as organiser Sandro Heinemann says. “We are offering a complete wind-down: wellness, yoga courses, workshops in all possible areas and poetry slams.” Felix Jaehn and Alma will be the headline acts. As the two have already done two songs together, there is a good chance they will also perform together at Panama Open Air.

During the two days, 60 artists will be on the stages spread throughout the Blumenweise in the Rheinaue. Alongside the electro stars Kölsch, Stephan Bodzin, Boris Brejcha and Nicky Romero, they include the Marteria-Alter Ego Marsimoto Soundsystem. Among the well-known DJs who are performing are the Berlin duo Format:B as well as Oliver Schories, Booka Shade, Roosevelt, Andhim, Jan Blomquvist and Victor Ruiz.

The camping will be expanded this year. “In this way we enable people from further away to come to our festival for a manageable amount of money,” says Sandro Heinemann. Hotels, if rooms are still available, are not affordable for most visitors. The camping ground used to be in Bad Honnef and was served by shuttle buses. The city of Bonn is now allowing overnight stays on the festival grounds themselves.

The regular weekend tickets cost Euro 77.90 and are available online at www.bonnticket.de (Friday and Saturday) and at sales points in the GA branch offices. Those wanting to camp in the Rheinaue must pay an additional 11 Euro. Individual tickets for Friday and Saturday cost 45.20 Euro and 55.90 Euro respectively.
