The historical coach house in the former government district has been a restaurant since 2015, and in the first year since opening the „Reise“, Maas received his Michelin Star. Schwarzenegger could enjoy a relaxed feast, in line with the climate conference, because the chef prefers regional products and organic vegetables.

At the entrance, the Hollywood star was greeted by photos of Katy Perry and Prince. Looking at the pictures by artist Martin Schoeller, Schwarzenegger quipped: „And why am I not hanging there?“

Maas and his team felt that the Terminator actor was „very pleasant and open-minded“. „He is very likeable and approachable for the ordinary people too. A very positive person“, Maas described the experience of meeting Schwarzenegger.

Just as exciting as the famous visitor was the Michelin decision for Maas this week. On Tuesday evening came the announcement: The EQUU Remise was awarded the Michelin Star again.

On the restaurant’s „Wall of Fame“, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s signature can be found beside famous athletes and Hape Kerkeling, who celebrated his wedding here.

The next celebrity will call in soon, it was rumoured at the „Remise“. Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is an active environmentalist and also attended the climate conference in Paris.

The COP23 organisers though consider it rather unlikely that he will arrive at the same time as the heads of state at the end of the climate conference.
