Restaurant guide Reinart’s Restaurant, Bistro and Cookery School
Bonn · Christine Reinart and her daughter, Sandra Reinart, have owned Reinart’s Restaurant, Bistro and Cookery School in Rüngsdorf since March 2008. Their aim, say mother and daughter, is to provide, “a unique, feel-good atmosphere with fresh, seasonal and completely homemade meals.”
The bistro can seat up to 30 people indoors and has the feel of a French salon with art and antiques. There is an open kitchen and a veranda which seats eight together with an idyllic garden terrace with places for an additional 20 guests.
The menu includes homemade, oven-roasted granola-muesli with Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and honey (Euro 7.50), asparagus risotto with salad (Euro 18.50) and pan-fried king prawns with homemade gnocchi in white wine, sage and caper butter and salad (Euro 24). The restaurant offers business lunches from Tuesday to Friday (11.30am to 2pm) with soup or salad followed by a main course and an espresso for Euro 19.
On the drinks menu are green smoothies (Euro 5.50) and coffee from Piazza Venezia and Grappa Elisi von Berta (2 cl) for Euro 8.50. There are five wines available by the glass (0.2 l) from Euro 7 and twelve wines available by the bottle from Euro 24, such as an Auxerrois von Huber (Malterdingen) for Euro 35.
The restaurant mainly attracts business people, private individuals and couples.
