TANNENBUSCH · After a bloody conflict in the open street on Friday evening in Bonn-Tannenbusch, police arrested two suspects and a woman who is said to have driven the escape vehicle.

After a young man was injured in the legs in an open street fight on Friday, the police have now begun further investigations.

The 26-year-old man was injured with a window scraper on Friday evening in a dispute with two acquaintances on the open street. According to police, the 24- and 25-year-old suspects clashed with the 26-year-old man about 7.30 p.m. on Oppelner Straße. The man is said to have been attacked on the street with a sharp-edged window scraper. He suffered injuries that had to be treated in hospital.

After the attack, the attackers got into the car of a 32-year-old woman who drove away, while witnesses alerted the rescue service and the police. Police quickly found the two men and their chauffeuse in the woman’s apartment near the crime scene. They were arrested and the officers also secured the crime instrument in the apartment.

The trio did not have to stay long at the police station. After police measures had been completed, they were released again. According to the police, this was decided in consultation with the public prosecutor’s office. According to the police, it appeared that the current state of affairs probably resulted from a “long-running dispute between the parties involved”. The Criminal Investigation Department has taken over further investigations.
