Bad Godesberg · At around 11.30 pm, a 30-year-old man was robbed and stabbed near the train station in Bad Godesberg. The police are searching for three culprits and are asking for witnesses to come forward.

Again, a serious robbery by adolescents is occupying the police: Three young people attacked the 30-year-old man around 11.30pm, who was walking at the rear of the Bad Godesberg train station between the parking lot and the station grounds, and injured him.

As the police reports, three young people approached the man and asked him for a cigarette. When the 30-year-old told them, he did not have one, they suddenly began to hit him. One of the unidentified culprits drew a sharp object - possibly a knife - and caused stab wounds to the hands, arms and leg of the 30-year-old.

Subsequently they robbed their victim by taking his wallet with approximately 50 Euro in it. Then the trio fled on foot.

The empty wallet was thrown away near the incident. The injured man found it when he walked towards the front of the train station and asked a taxi driver for help who then called an ambulance and the police.

The 30-year-old was cared for by the medical personnel at the site and was brought to a hospital for further treatment.

As the police disclosed, the immediate search and investigation measures have yet to lead to the arrest of the brutal robbers. For this reason, the public is asked for help.

The culprits are described as follows: All three had broken German, are approximately 1.75m in height, have normal stature and were dressed in dark clothes. One of them wore a short beard, another one a black and grey jumper.

According to GA information the police see no connection to Niklas Pöhler who was killed in May 2016, also near the train station.
