Performing arts Pantheon Theater in new home

Beuel · It has moved from a basement setting on one of Bonn’s main roads to the sunny side of the river. The Pantheon Theater is now open for business in Beuel.

After what seems like many eight-day weeks, Rainer Pause and Martina Steimer opened up the doors on Thursday night to reveal the new home for the Pantheon Theater. The popular theater is known as a live music and performance venue. It had to find a new location because the building where it was previously housed at Bundeskanzlerplatz was being torn down. Taking a leap across the river, it is now situated in Beuel. An unofficial tour of the new space was given yesterday afternoon.

“Starman” - a show starring Sven Ratzke, with music from David Bowie will be running this Saturday, October 29. But there are still more boxes to be unpacked in the next weeks. The motto of the owners is “Everything will be new, just like it always was.” The old Pantheon sign will be hung above the entrance to make fans old and new feel welcome. (Orig. text: ga)
