The number is located on the side panel of the pizza package, and Nestlé-Wagner advises consumers to check before consumption. It could be that glass particles are in the product and warns that one should confirm the number before eating.
Consumers who have purchased pizzas with the affected serial number can return their product to the supermarket where purchased and they should receive a refund. The company said it regretted the incident. No other Wagner products were affected by the recall and were all fully suitable for consumption, the announcement read.
