Fronhofer Galeria H & M to open Saturday
BAD GODESBERG · Fashion retailer H & M will be open for business again inside the Fronhofer Galeria. The re-opening follows months of repairs and renovations.
Work to restore the Fronhofer Galeria is plugging along. On Saturday, November 12, clothing retailer H & M will open its doors once again, starting at 10:00 a.m. This is a positive development, coming on the heels of lease cancellations by Benetton and “Mi parti” who decided not return to the shopping center after many delays.
Those stores decided to opt out after months of being closed, and uncertainty as to when they would be allowed to open again. On June 4, the Fronhofer Galeria was hit with flash floods, causing extensive damage.
Around 4 million liters of water poured into the building during the flooding. It has been closed since then for repairs and renovations. The only business operating inside of the Fronhofer Galeria has been the fitness studio Health City. People have been allowed to visit the fitness center since the end of August. (Orig. text: jab)
