A555 closed in direction towards Cologne Critical injuries in rear end collision
Bonn · A rear-end collision Friday morning on the A555 between Bornheim and Wesseling resulted in critical injuries. The autobahn is expected to be closed off until 9 am.

In the early morning hours on the A555 in the direction of Cologne, there was a serious car crash, critically injuring one driver. Police say at first it was just one who driver rammed into the guard rail and ended up in the median. Then a truck and a car both crashed into the accident site. Both drivers of the cars suffered injuries and were taken to hospital. Several hundred liters of gas were leaked in the accident.
The autobahn is expected to be blocked off until the Wesseling exit, in the direction of Cologne until around 9 am.
