Bad Neuenahr · On Saturday evening, a car crashed into the entrance area of a gambling and games hall on Rathausstraße. Nobody was hurt but property damage was thought to be at least 80,000 euros.

Police say the crash on Rathausstraße in Bad Neuenahr was “particularly dramatic”. A high-powered car was hurled over a bus stop and walkway into the entrance area of a gambling and games hall.

The entrance was completely destroyed and collateral damage was estimated at a minimum of 80,000 euros. Police say it was pure luck that neither the driver of the car nor any guests in the games hall were injured. Following the accident, police determined that the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
