Holidays along Rhine, Sieg and Ahr Camping sites in and around Bonn

Campingplatz Genienau in Mehlem

This is a very good camp site for people with caravans and camper vans, and it offers a great view on the Drachenfels from its location near the banks of the Rhine.

Siegpark Hennef

If you want to explore the river Sieg, the nature in the Siegtal and the surrounding towns, this is the camp site for you. Very childfriendly and offering spaces for caravans, camper vans and tents with electric connections and water supply. The restaurant right beside it has a good German rational food menu.

Campingplatz Happach

This place is perfect for a stop-over for hikers, canoeists and cyclists. Directly located beside the river, it stands for relaxation. Shortime campers are as welcome as permanent campers.

Price range: 9 Euro/adult, plus 3 Euro/caravan or 2 Euro/tent. Camping barrels are for rent for people arriving without their own tent or van.

Auf dem Salmenfang

Campingplatz Altenahr

This camping site has spaces for 180 tents or caravans, and it is located close to the wine town. A restaurant, a chipper, a playground and an area for teenagers make this a good place for a weekend trip - plus it’s only half an hour away in the car (an hour by train).

Price range: 9.50 Euro/space (caravan and car), plus 4.50 Euro/adult and 3 Euro/child. A space for a tent costs 7 Euro/night (incl. car).Interesting: The camping site offers a „quick stopp“ deal: Arrive in the evening, leave in the morning, and pay only 18 Euro.

Rheincamping Siebengebirgsblick

It’s all in the name: Here, you wake up with the Siebengebirge in sight, at the foot of the Roladsbogen, close to Bad Honnef. Barbecue areas, an own jetty and lots of opportunity for fun and games complete the list of things to do here.

Eifel-Camp

Very close to the Freilinger Lake, here you can choose between 100 spaces for tents or caravans. Boats and surfboards are allowed on the lake. There are barbecue huts, a kiosk, a playground and a skate park.
